I am a specialist in corrosion science and engineering, with over 30 years’ experience in the construction sector, where monitoring and protection innovations have been used to preserve embodied carbon in buildings and infrastructure. As a Fellow of the Institute of Corrosion (FICorr), past Chair of the E510 Corrosion Committee at the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and Steering Committee Member on BSI PAS8820, I have participated in and overseen many standards and guidelines for use in industry, both in the UK and USA, for use globally. Within my role as CEO of C-Probe Group Limited, I have instigated and managed innovations throughout my time as Founder, with these now emerging as prominent technology for sustainable resilience of structures in the industry’s drive towards net zero.
