I am a Chartered Engineer with a PhD in the digital prediction of social outcomes through the built environment. Over the last 30 years, I have developed a track record of delivering successful process and technology-driven business change programmes from within the Engineering and Construction industries. These include the development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards, and the integration of engineering and commercial systems. I chaired the development of the UK Government’s BIM Strategy, which was published in July 2011 as part of the Government Construction Strategy and I chaired the UK BIM Task Group, which delivered the 2011-2016 Level 2 programme.
